FRDM Fest invites you to #PartyWithAPurpose this Fourth of July weekend with a genre-bending lineup at a waterfront park in Long Beach, California.
Benefitting Teen Cancer America, the inaugural festival will be headlined by Kid Ink, SNDCLSH with special performance by Lupe Fiasco and T-Pain, with support from electronic acts like Bixel Boys and Le Youth. Taking place July 2 at Queen Mary Waterfront Events Park, FRDM Fest will blend elements of a celebratory holiday BBQ with art, music, drinks, games and food while aiming to raise $15,000 for the cancer nonprofit that works to improve the lives of affected teens and young adults.
“This festival is about more than just a celebration of our country’s independence,” says festival co-founder Waseel Amoura. “It’s about coming together and raising awareness for Teen Cancer America. This is about community and celebration.”
All proceeds from FRDM Fest will be donated to Teen Cancer America and help to fund youth-oriented facilities and programs in hospitals around the country for teens and young adults with cancer. While major improvements have been made in adult and pediatric cancer care in recent years, little progress has come for teen cancer patients. By bringing together hip-hop and electronic artists with a side stage curated by production school Icon Collective, FRDM Fest will allow attendees to party their holiday weekend away while feeling good about the positive impact they’re making on the world.
