From age 2 to 17, Cookie went 4 rounds with cancer including a very rare skin cancer, making her the first patient to be diagnosed at UCLA. An incredibly strong and positive young woman, Cookie asks us to remember that there is “always a brighter side to thinking of things, which will help you with anything in life.”
